White Lotus Home now has waterproof Kapok pillows. Since 1981, our beautifully handmade kapok pillows have been made with GOTS Certified Organic Sateen fabric as the outer casing. As of the end of 2023, they are also made with a GOTS Certified Organic Cotton waterproof outer casing. An added new way to extend the life of your awesome new pillow and never forget who made it for you!

What Makes it Waterproof?
The waterproof fabric is made of 1 layer of 100% organic cotton knit and a 1mil non-GMO bio-based TPU film. This cornstarch-derived, biodegradable film makes the outer casing waterproof and protects against spills, stains, dust mites, and bed bugs, plus it is approved by GOTS and meets the GreenGuard Gold Standard.
Also, this fabric has undergone a pore test with results stating that if any pores exist, they are less than 1 micron which means that it is also a great barrier fabric to protect from dust. Very exciting!

White Lotus Home delivers to most of the Tri-County Area (NY/NJ/PA) for FREE. If you are not in our home delivery area, your product will be shipped using the best shipping method available at that time like FEDEX, UPS, a Freight Delivery Company or the United States Postal Service. It is up to the discretion of White Lotus Home as to which service is used.

Cleaning Your Pillows
We always recommend spot-cleaning our pillows — never saturate them with any liquid. We always recommend to our customers that they add one of our protective Waterproof pillow covers, to ensure spills never get out of hand.
To spot clean, we suggest a mild solution of three parts water to one part vinegar in a spray bottle, but for particularly stubborn spills, a mild detergent is perfectly fine to add to the bottle as well.
Always ensure your pillow is thoroughly dried after a spot cleaning, either by using a hair dryer or placing it in the sun to air out.
