What makes it Waterproof and Machine Washable?

The waterproof fabric is made of 1 layer of 100% organic cotton knit and a 1mil non-GMO bio-based TPU film. This cornstarch-derived, biodegradable film makes the outer casing waterproof and protects against spills, stains, dust mites, and bed bugs, and meets the GreenGuard Gold Standard.

To clean, machine wash in cold water, and hang dry. Do not use bleach.
