Cleaning Your Pillows

We always recommend spot-cleaning our pillows — never saturate them with any liquid. We always recommend to our customers that they add one of our protective Waterproof pillow covers, to ensure spills never get out of hand.

To spot clean, we suggest a mild solution of three parts water to one part vinegar in a spray bottle, but for particularly stubborn spills, a mild detergent is perfectly fine to add to the bottle as well.

Always ensure your pillow is thoroughly dried after a spot cleaning, either by using a hair dryer or placing it in the sun to air out.

If I could make this rating 4.5, I would. We had been using sustainable latex pillows, and I found that I could not breathe when I woke up, likely due to the latex trapping dust. I tried the buckwheat after a lot of research, and I have been very happy with them. They are a lot more firm than you would think, more along the lines of extra firm. The best thing is that they breathe, they do not get hot, and I never wake up with a stuffy nose. I have been sleeping like a rock on this pillow now for several months.

My mom likes small pillows for sleeping - I guess better for her neck? So for Mother's Day I bought her one of these travel buckwheat pillows (with the zipper in case she wanted to add or subtract the stuffing) and she loves it, sleeps with it every night. I bought one for myself too, mainly for travel but I keep it in my emergency go bag (in case of disaster at least I'll have a comfy pillow).

Best neck pillow on the market. I have chronic neck problems and artificial disc replacements but this is the only pillow that offers relief. I’ve tried many pillows before I found this one but it’s the only thing I’ve used for the past 5 years.

As I mentioned I ordered a buckwheat pillow. I think it's going to work really well for me. I have to let some buckwheat out when I get another case. I would recommend this to people with neck problems, people that get too hot when sleeping, and anyone who likes a firmer pillow made from natural materials. The quality is excellent!

We love these pillows.. it get a little getting used to, and they are kind of heavy, but they're great! they stay cool and give great support, you can mold them however and they'll stay, and its just great knowing what their made of, there really cool.

Sometimes I use it at the end of the day , when I want to relax I just lie down on the floor, put my pillow under my neck and let the pillow do it's magic . Mostly I sleep on it at night of course . I would recommend it to anyone , especially to people who experience lots of pain in the neck , pillow is awesome . The quality is great also , very nice , thick casing.

TOTALLY DELIGHTED!!! I'm a side-sleeper and was bunching up the pillow I was using to give me the neck support I needed. I happened upon this site, and I'm so glad I did! I was unsure what size buckwheat pillow to get as a replacement, so I ordered both Junior and Standard sizes, along with the Barrier Cloth Cases, all with the zipper feature. I needed to call Customer Support with a couple questions, and the woman I spoke with was very helpful. I'm now using the Junior pillow on top of the Standard size pillow, and it's giving me the perfect amount of height and support I need. And no more waking up with headaches!

I LOVE these pillows. I have one or two in every place I sleep (my own home, my parent's, my boyfriend's). These are so well made, so sturdy, I can feel the care and attention that went into the making of them, and I just love knowing they are high quality, organic, healthy. I'd look up how to use them before ordering. They're not typical pillows, so I'm still unsure how to get mine to be comfortable. \n\nAlso, don't cheap out: include the zipper in your order. Chances are you'll want to make adjustments to how stuffed it is.

I love how this product is organic and it gives you support when you're sleeping. These are very firm pillow so if you like firm that would be great for a very very firm pillow. You can adjust the Hulls if you get a zippered case . I will be getting more to use inside of a body pillow

I've been sleeping on this pillow for years and can't say enough good things about it. It seems to fit my head and align my neck perfectly. It is heavy for travel but worth it if you can fit it in your suitcase.

The buckwheat sleep pillows are not your average pillow. The sheer weight of it initially was a bit startling. That being said, you're not going to need to stack pillows like you may have in the past. Which is good, because you can't just toss this thing off of the bed. It is a good, sturdy pillow. The buckwheat contours to you and stays that way. The casing is high quality and super soft as well. I ordered mine with the zipper case and that has come in handy.

i have had a buckwheat seed pillow for several years 5 -7 years. Do the seed ever seeds ever need to be replaced?
That would depend on the use of the pillow if you feel it has broken down a bit over the years and is a bit flatter than you need it to be, then yes, you can replace the buckwheat hulls. Yes, the organic cotton casing is free of any dye's. We feel the fabric is soft but it has to be a stronger fabric to be able to hold the buckwheat hulls well as they tend to give you a heavier than a normal pillow. If you select a pillow with a zipper, you can remove the inner fill and wash the outer casing as you feel. You have 30 days to return any product that is not used.
