Mullets, mom jeans and platform shoes, vinyl records, board games and rubix cubes… Have you noticed how quickly young adults are bringing back “old school” trends nowadays?
At WLH, we’ve certainly seen more and more people wanting to sleep the “old school” way, or as we like to say it,“Sleeping how Mother Nature intended!” 🌱
And unlike other fads, we don’t think this one is going anywhere. In fact, we’re pretty sure that quite the opposite will happen. Going “green” is going to grow.
If we human beings want to preserve our planet for our children and grandchildren and the future generations to come, we can’t think of a better way to do just that than to save the Earth 🌎 while you sleep!
Now, while a White Lotus Home mattressmay not be the oldest mattress ever, they have been known to last over 3 decades with proper use and care. That’s what makes the very first mattress WLH started business with in 1981 one of our continued best sellers for over 40 years.
Soft & plush, yet firm & supportive at the same time
It consumes 91% less water to grow than regular cotton
And it protects farmers from pesticide exposure
The Dreamtonis a mattress unlike any you’ve ever slept on. It’s a unique experience that has been a dream come true to many for over 4 decades and counting, and it could be yours too!

We took a hard look at conventional contour pillows and found some surprising discoveries that we’ll tell you all about.
In today’s issue:
3 big problems with conventional contour pillows
Some toxins commonly found in memory foam that everyone should be aware of

Contour Pillows
The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly
Contour pillows have gained popularity in recent years, and it’s for good reason. They offer a number of incredible benefits, like:
Spinal alignment
Relief from pain, soreness, and stiffness
Support for your neck, head, and shoulder
But there are a handful of BIG problems with many of the conventional contour pillows out there.
They’re not adjustable. Once you bought one, you were stuck with its shape and firmness.
They’re synthetic. Most conventional contour pillows are made of materials like memory foam which could contain any number of potentially toxic chemicals. For example, diisocyanates are chemicals commonly used in memory foam that can irritate the mouth, nose, and eyes, and TDI, in particular, may be carcinogenic.
They’reexpensive!Despite being one shape and firmness and potentially packed with toxic chemicals, you could break the bank buying one!
When we started exploring the design of contour pillows at White Lotus Home a few years ago, we knew we had to create a solution to this problem…
And that’s precisely what we did.
A pillow designed withyouin mind that’s all-natural, completely adjustable, and even costs LESS than its competitors…
The KaPillow’s design is simple. It’s a soft, organic cotton sateen casing, filled with our natural Kapok fiber with a half-seam in the center, creating a dip for your head, and leaving a lip on either side to support your neck.
Unlike typical contour pillows, we made our KaPillow easy to adjust because we know just how important it is for the firmness and shape to be just right.
To adjust your KaPillow, you can simply unzip the case and add or remove filling as you see fit until it’s perfect for you!
Ready to Kick Neck Pain and Toxic Chemicals to the Curb?
Treat yourself to anall-natural contour pillowthat’s affordable, effective, and completely adjustable. You deserve it!

Back in 2005 when I began working as the General Manager of our great company, we used New Zealand raised wool that was then processed into batting in the USA for all of our wool products.
Since New Zealand truly is the best in the world when it comes to the wool industry, this setup resulted in great, high quality products for our customers. 👏
Then in 2008, something happened with imports that made the prices increase dramatically, and our company was forced to switch to USA raised wool.
The problem with this, however, is that USA raised sheep are not always treated as well as the sheep are in New Zealand. Not only is this sad and disappointing from an ethical standpoint, it also can result in a lower quality product. 😦
As you know, our company is committed to creating healthy, ethical, long-lasting, high quality products so you can enjoy and feel great about your purchases. With this standard in mind and now that global markets have shifted, we’ve decided to make the switch back to New Zealand raised wool that’s processed into batting here in the US.
We’re confident that this switch will offer you the best possible wool products, craftsmanship that will last even longer, and wool products you can feel really great about because you know the animals are treated well & raised ethically. 👍
As you know, we love and prefer to use American grown fibers as much as possible, but when it comes to wool, everyone that uses, works with, and loves wool knows that there’s truly nothing better than New Zealand wool. 😁
With that, we are thrilled to begin offering you even higher quality products that are more ethically sound at the same great prices we have been for years.
Here’s to happy sheep🐑and happier sleep😴!
Sincerely,
- Marlon Pando
