The contour does work for a side sleeper. The quality of the pillow is very good.
Use it when I sleep on my side.

Exactly what I was looking for in a supportive pillow for my neck. I am also especially happy to support a smaller, more ethical, business!
The zipper is a little stuck with some of the kapok which is a little unfortunate if I ever wanna take some out to double up the pillow for side sleep support.
