Our Natural Mattresses are handcrafted in the USA. White Lotus Home mattresses are available in all standard sizes. Since 1981, we have been experts in the natural fiber Mattress making arena. We also custom make mattresses, cushions, and pillows to the dimensions you desire.
Our natural mattresses start with a case made of sturdy 7 oz. 100% USDA ORGANIC cotton fiber, 100% USDA certified cotton or cotton blend ticking sewn and two handles on each side. Each mattress is piled high with 8 to 10 layers of 2 inch thick U.S. grown cotton, adding one layer at a time until we achieve a good mattress. We also handcraft mattresses with 100% Organic Cotton, Natural Latex, Pure Virgin Wool and Evergreen Foam.

Our pillows, like all the products we offer, are eco-friendly and socially conscious, made with the safest ingredients available - from 100% Organic Cotton and Buckwheat to Pure Virgin Wool and Kapok.
Please note all our pillows NOW come with a casing (the outer fabric) that is made from organic cotton fabric. Even the wool, standard cotton, and kapok pillows.

Handmade Children Bedding
White Lotus Home 100% natural US handcrafted bedding is great! Our crib mattresses are made differently from any other crib you can buy and they help reduce the risk of SIDS syndrome. We have worked since 1981, on handcrafting a natural crib mattress that is both safe and natural for your newborn baby. We believe that cotton is the greatest sleeping surface any amount of money can buy. Our cribs are firm to help avoid SIDS. We also have toddler mattresses that are made like our standard natural mattresses, which have a greater comfort level, but they are not recommended for newborn babies. Covers for Futons, Pillows

We handcraft our own futon, pillow, cushion and custom covers. All covers are made with three zippered sides and a double flap enclosure. This makes the covers easier to put on and take off. This also ensures a snugger, cleaner fit. Covers are sewn so that the seams are as invisible as possible. We use 100% organic cotton and natural fabrics. We also have over 200 designs to choose from.

We have been selling our cotton massage mats to massage, yoga, and shiatsu schools around the country for many years. They are 1.5 inches thick of pure US grown cotton. The 100% cotton removable covers have straps sewn right on so that you can roll them up, tie them and easily transport them around the country or to your local school. Vermont Furniture Designs is a small Vermont company creating traditional furniture of strength, simplicity, and quality. Since 1970, Vermont Furniture Designs has been committed to producing a variety of classic, high quality, solid hardwood furniture which are visually striking, and which clearly displays the quality of our craftsmanship. Our furniture is available in solid cherry, walnut, and maple, as well as blended combinations of those three species. Our hand rubbed oil finish does not allow staining or tinting, so the natural color of the wood is displayed. We take great pride in our color and grain matching - without a stain, the selection of the individual pieces of wood is of paramount importance.
The quality of custom built construction we pride ourselves on making solid contemporary furniture of custom quality, without the custom price. We build our furniture by hand using the latest technology, such as nylon bearing epoxy coated drawer slides and chuck and bore drawer construction, which we combine with elements of traditional craftsmanship and quality, like mortise and tenon joinery. All of our furniture is enhanced by unbroken lines of solid wood construction; very few laminated parts are used. Parts are produced in multiples, then hand assembled by teams of Vermont craftsmen. Our solid-front drawers are assembled and perfectly fitted by specially trained teams as well. Solid wood frame and panel side construction sets Vermont Furniture Designs products apart from standard slab-sided furniture. Our furniture has no visible plugged screw holes, and pieces are glued and clamped over night to ensure a solid bond. Extra glue blocks at stress joints practically guarantee that furniture will last a lifetime. All of our products are sanded smooth and hand rubbed with oil, which develops a patina and depth of color unavailable with a lacquer finish. All pieces have invisible levelers so doors will open evenly no matter what type of floor the furniture is placed on.
